BETA Center provides parents with educational and support services that build upon their existing strengths, and provide services that build stronger, healthier communities.

PARENTING WORKSHOPS - Balancing the demands of children, work and life can be tough. Why do some children avoid dangerous and risky behaviors? Our workshops provide parents with information, tips and support to ensure that our community's children are receiving what they need to succeed.

PARENT SKILLS BUILDING COURSE - More parents are finding it difficult, and sometimes overwhelming, to handle the daily challenges of raising their children. We help parents find new and effective ways to manage family life through a 10-week course. This course meets the mandated requirements.

FAMILY FUN EVENTS - Want to treat your family to some fun time together? Forget the stress of transportation or spending money and attend a BETA Center sponsored neighborhood event. We bring neighbors together to have fun eating and participating in fun, positive family enriching activities.

PARENT/CHILD P.L.A.Y.Shops - These Pre-school Learning Activities for Youngsters provide 2 hours of activities for parents and their children 0-5 years old. Developmentally stimulating play helps children meet their developmental milestones, enhance their socialization skills and promote school readiness. P.L.A.Y.Shops provide parenting support, and a great time for parents to talk with each other about their daily struggles.
