BETA Center is holding a community awareness event on Thursday July 22, 2010 from 10a.m. - 1p.m. This fun-filled event suitable for the whole family is yet another way BETA fulfills its mission to give our community’s children and parents the knowledge and support needed for strong and healthy families.
Beginning at 10a.m. kids can play in the bounce house on site, get their face painted, create their own arts and crafts to keep, or even get a balloon animal! Parents can come to register their child in the VPK program and have a meet and greet with the staff. Tours will be given and volunteer opportunities will be offered. There will be a cookout where $2 buys lunch. Plenty of cotton candy, sno cones, and baked goods can be purchased for only $1. The Big Red Bus will also be here accepting blood donations for those willing.
BETA Center is located on Lake Underhill Rd., between Conway Rd. and Semoran Blvd. (SR 436). Admission is a non-perishable food item for BETA’s food pantry. Come see what BETA is about!
